Sunday’s Super Bowl will be on the seventeeth Aniversary of Super Bowl XXXVI

Patriots Rams Part 2 February 3rd, 2002 the favored St. Louis Rams and the underdog New England Patriots were about to play in the Super Bowl. It was a red, white, and blue themed Super Bowl after 9/11. America was coming together as Patriots to defend their Country from terrorism, and the New England Patriots were looking for their first Super Bowl win in franchise history. The Patriots had a new coach in Bill Belichick, and a new quarterback named Tom Brady. Little did they know they were about to make history. They were the first team to ever...

The National Media’s Bias against the Patriots

The National Media Does Have Bias Against The Patriots During the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, a green laser was pointing toward Tom Brady in the fourth quarter. The only media attention is that the NFL is investigating. Colin Cowherd from Fox Sports One put it the best. If that happened to Patrick Mahomes in Foxborough it would lead every major news station. Spygate and deflategate lasted years because the Patriots are disliked nationally, because they always win. If that happened to a less popular quarterback it would be a nonstory. People want the Patriots to lose, and if...

With the game on the line like it or not Brady is the one you want under center

Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl again The Patriots are headed to another Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years. Tom Brady is the only quarterback ever to make good receivers great in big spots. Chris Hogan and Phillip Dorsett, who have been absent all season, were great when it mattered the most. That offensive line was also exceptional in protecting Brady throughout the game. Then Brady found Edelman on those third downs in overtime to keep the drive alive, were was Edelman elite and clutch again. Brady’s swagger is hated around the country, except for...

The Patriots love being the underdog

People are talking and not giving the Patriots credit like Max Kellerman, who continues to bash Brady and say he doesn’t throw into tight windows. He’s clearly not watching the same game. Kyle Van Noy told Zolak and Bertrand on 98.5 The Sports Hub he should stick to boxing.

The Patriots Are On To Kansas City

What cliff is Tom Brady Falling Off Of? Via CBS Sports Tom Brady is headed to another AFC Championship. This will be his fourteenth Championship game in his career. All season long Brady has been criticized, from the Max Kellerman’s and Shannon Sharpe’s of the world, that he’s falling off a cliff. Brady’s performance in the playoffs is something we see year after year. People talk about how he’s isn’t good anymore, then he has the game of his life. Brady had probably his best game of the season yesterday. Now the test moves on to Kansas City. It’s...

Playing in January is a normalcy for Tom Brady

The playoff tradition continues for Tom Brady and the Patriots Here we go again, January playoff football for the Patriots. It seems like it’s a tradition. Every year the Patriots are the number one or two seed and are hosting a playoff game in January. The Patriots will be hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday and the early forecast calls for snow. History tells us how Brady plays in the snow in January. Tom Brady will continue to be dominant in the playoffs If we rewind it’s obvious this team is not even close to the early 2000...

There’s less Patriots drama going into the playoffs

The Patriots are in a good place heading into the playoffs Last season when Jimmy Garoppolo was traded, Bill Belichick took so much heat for it. Now, as we fast forward a year later, the Patriots are going to the playoffs and the San Francisco 49ER’S are watching from home. The notion that Belichick and Brady were at odds with each other stopped after Garoppolo was injured earlier this season. Garoppolo’s season-ending injury ended the rift between Belichick and Brady. It also ended the talk of any off the field drama surrounding the team. Patriots could host the AFC...

The Patriots in the Playoffs

The Patriots are ready for the playoffs The Patriots have secured a bye once again in the playoffs.  They beat a no-show Jets team Sunday and really took care of business to secure the two seed.  What people saw Sunday was an offense and passing game that has been missing all season.  We finally saw Hogan and Dorsett get their turn in the offense over someone that didn’t want to be there.  It’s about time, Hogan and Dorsett have been silent all season.  Gronkowski looked off but he has all season, and it’s questionable if he’ll retire when the...

Tom Brady wants to play in 2019 and beyond

Tom Brady wants to play many more years Every year at this time we come to question whether or not Tom Brady will play the following year or hang it up. Every year we get the same answer. He’s playing for many more years. He made his point clear to Jim Gray when he was asked if he’s playing in 2019. His lack of production this season could be because of his lack of weapons on offense. With missing key offensive guys like Amendola and Cooks this year, it could be the reason Brady hasn’t looked that great. Brady...

If Tom Brady wins the Super Bowl it will be his greatest achievement

Tom Brady has the chance to make history again The Patriots have had a roller coaster type of season.  They have lost five games, and all on the road.  That is very rare for this team.  This is now the weakest receiving group since Reche Caldwell and Jabar Gaffney.  That was the 2006 season, when the Patriots lost in the AFC Championship game to the Colts.  Some are even comparing this team to the 2009 team, when everyone was all over the place and not in sync.  After last season, and the loss of Danny Amendola and Brandin Cooks, they were...

Is this a repeat of the 2009 season for the Patriots?

This could be a repeat of the 2009 season The Patriots are now 3-5 on the road after the loss to the Steelers on Sunday.  This is the first time since 2009 the Patriots have lost 5 games in a season.  It’s like what Belichick said to Brady in ‘A Football Life’ “I can’t get this team to play the way I want them to.”  He said that after the New Orleans Saints game in 09, and remember they got shelled in the division round that season by the Baltimore Ravens.  The Patriots struggles on the road continue, and...

The Patriots can’t seem to win on the road

The Patriots have trouble on the road The Patriots not only have issues in Miami, they have issues with winning on the road.  The Patriots losses this season have all come on the road: Jacksonville, Detroit, Tennesse, and Miami.  It’s not like these are good teams either.  They are beatable teams and the Patriots should be able to beat them.  The problem is these teams treat games against the Patriots like it’s the Super Bowl.  They prepare so well for the matchup with the Pats, then are terrible the following week.  It’s like teams are out to get them. ...

Goodbye Number One Seed in the AFC

The Patriots will not be getting the number one seed in the AFC The Patriots are 16-38 all-time in Miami and can’t seem to ever get a win.  This loss for the Patriots is one of the top losses on the season.  With the loss today you can say goodbye to the number one seed in the AFC. Kansas City beat Baltimore today, and holds a two-game lead in the conference.  The Patriots seem to struggle a lot defensively, especially on the road this season.  Last week they just held the Vikings to ten points, but in today’s game every time...

The Number one seed is wide open in the AFC

The Number one seed December is a great time of year in the NFL.  The Patriots could possibly get the number one seed in the NFL even though their star players aren’t playing at 100 percent.  The Kansas City Chiefs have a bit of a distraction with the release of running back Kareem Hunt.  The Chargers came back in the fourth quarter to beat the Steelers and the Patriots can waltz to the number one seed with no problems.  It’s amazing how a team like the Patriots can have an average season and still get the number one seed...

Is this the last season for Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski in the NFL?

Will this be Gronkowski’s last season? We’ve reached December in the NFL season. The playoffs are right around the corner. For the Patriots, they’ve only lost four games in the month of December since 2001 that’s an insane stat. Tom Brady still performs at a high level even though he’s 41 and never misses any games. If there’s a chance he’ll play he’s going to. As for the tight end Rob Gronkowski that’s a different story. He’s been on and off the injury report this season with his ankle and back. An ESPN report on Sunday said he’s not...

Josh McDaniels isn’t going anywhere

Josh McDaniels isn’t going anywhere Josh McDaniels came back to the Patriots because rumors were that he would be the next head coach. It was rumored that Belichick was leaving at the end of the season but things may have changed. Belichick doesn’t seem to be doing anything different like it’s his last season. He still prepares the same, the press conferences are the same, and how he coaches during the games. As for McDaniels, there’s no way he’s going anywhere especially if Brady is still on the team. Rumors are coming out about McDaniels interested in a head...

Boston versus New York rivalry isn’t the same in football

Boston versus New York doesn’t have the same meaning in football The Patriots travel to play the Jets on Sunday afternoon. The 7-3 Patriots are coming off a bye week after getting pummeled by the Titans in Tennessee. The history of the Patriots and Jets isn’t the same obviously as the Red Sox and Yankees. For one thing, the Jets aren’t that good of a football team. They can’t seem to get it together and get crushed by the Patriots almost every time they play them. With the Red Sox and Yankees, both teams are good and the rivalry is always intense....

Rob Gronkowski retirement rumors continue

Rob Gronkowski might retire at the end of the season Rob Gronkowski hasn’t had a very productive season for the Patriots this year. He was triple covered at the beginning of the season when he was playing, or he’s always out of games because of injury. His contract is incentive based and if he doesn’t get guaranteed money he could retire at the end of the season. Gronkowski threatened to retire after the Patriots almost traded him to the Detroit Lions and before that after the Super Bowl. Seems like he’s always injured lately and one more big hit from a serious injury....

Dion Lewis says Patriots are cheap

Dion Lewis had some comments about his former team The Tennessee Titans beat the Patriots on Sunday 34-10. They were also meeting some familiar faces from Mike Vrabel to Dion Lewis on the Titans. Malcolm Butler and Eric Rowe didn’t say that it was a personal win for the Patriots. However, Dion Lewis made some honest remarks about the Patriots being cheap after the game. “Yeah, it was personal when you go cheap you get your ass kicked.” Seems like someone who only cares about themselves and not someone who is a team player. Bill Belichick only cares about...

Comparing Tom Brady to Aaron Rodgers

A Good Sunday Night Match-up This Week Sunday Night Football this week should be entertaining. The Green Bay Packers travel to Foxborough to take on the Patriots. The Patriots are coming off a win over Buffalo where they didn’t really get things going until the second half. The Packers are coming off a loss to the Rams and fell to 3-3-1. Comparing Tom Brady to Aaron Rodgers is interesting. Brady is so far ahead of him in pretty much everything. He’s won five Super Bowls while Rodgers has only won one Super Bowl. Brady has thrown 504 touchdown passes...

The Patriots barley get a win over the Bears

The Patriots get a win barley A sloppy performance by the Patriots with turnovers and almost blowing it at the end. However, a win is a win, right? I don’t remember an ugly win like what we saw today from this Patriots team. Also, Bears quarterback Mitch  Trubisky ran all over the Patriots defense like he was Michael Vick at the beginning of the game. He rushed for six carries for 81 yards and one touchdown. Really, there’s no excuse for that Patriots defense to give up all those rushing yards to a quarterback. As for Cordarrelle Patterson, who...

However, the Patriots defense fell asleep and connected with Tyreek Hill for a 75 yard touchdown with time winding down in the fourth quarter. The game looked over at halftime the score was 24-9 and the Kansas City defense couldn’t stop the Patriots in the...
