Requirements for Streaming Live TV using FB live

The following are the recommended hardware and software requirement for live telecasting tv through FB live. You can see more details on OBS website.

Windows PC:

DirectX 10.1 compatible GPU

Need OS Windows 7 or later.

macOS:

Intel CPU (However PPC is not supported)

OpenGL version 3.2 compatible GPU

macOS version 10.10 or later

Linux/Unix

OpenGL 3.2 compatible GPU

X window system

Even though these are the officially mentioned requirements, you should have the following resources for smooth broadcast.

8 GB RAM – OBS, Facebook and Channel Play requires a good amount of RAM. So to work without any lagging, try to keep 8 GB of RAM.

i5 Processor – Due to multitasking, you should have a fast processor for streaming. i5 and above is recommended.

SSD or HDD is OK – There are not big reading and writing to the storage. So SSD is not mandatory.
