Tom Takes Out Brett

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is viewed by many to be the greatest quarterback to ever play the game, as he has six Super Bowl rings, and continues to play the game at a high level, even at 42 years of age.

Not only that, Brady has been shattering records left and right throughout his career, and he broke another one during Sunday’s game against the Redskins.

Brady trailed Brett Favre for third in the NFL’s all-time passing list, needing 264 yards to get there. He did exactly that on Sunday, passing Favre on this particular play, which you can watch below.

Just another notch on TB12’s bedpost. For the record, he now only trails Peyton Manning (71,940) and Drew Brees (74,845).

The Pats Secret Sauce

The Patriots are one of two remaining undefeated teams in the NFL, and quarterback Tom Brady has an outside-the-box take as to why.

Sunday Night Football brought a loss to the previously-undefeated Chiefs, and with the 3-0 49ers squaring off against the surging Browns on Monday, the Patriots may be the last unbeaten team heading into Week 6 and there are incredibly interesting odds on this possibility, specifically if you’re looking for sports betting in ca.

So… what’s the secret?  They’ve been getting extra sleep — at least according to Brady, who believes the 1 p.m. start games have been aiding players’ recovery.

It’s a good point, as the early start times allows players to get on a schedule that they can stick to, pertaining to recovery, treatment, nutrition and practice.

Gronk On the Mic?

Rob Gronkowski will soon be returning to football minus the helmet and shoulder pads.

Fox Sports announced on Tuesday that the former Patriots tight end will be joining the network as an NFL analyst. Coincidentally, Gronkowski’s debut takes place this Thursday night on the pregame show ahead of New England taking on the New York Giants.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining FOX Sports,” Gronkowski said in a statement. “For the past 25 years, they’ve offered viewers top-notch NFL programming from the field to the booth to the studio. Their deep talent roster is unmatched, which was important for me as I embark on this new chapter in my life because I’ll be able to learn from the best in the business.”

This doesn’t rule out Gronkowski re-joining the Patriots on the field, though. As many have been quick to point out, Jay Cutler was expected to become an analyst for FOX in 2017 before returning to football to play for the Dolphins.

Gronkowski should have no trouble entertaining folks on TV, but we’ll see if he gets the itch to come back to playing.
