Patrick Mahomes to win Super Bowl LIV MVP a great value bet

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the reigning NFL MVP, and he’ll soon be playing in the biggest game of his career to date, against the 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.

Mahomes won the MVP award last season, and had he not missed a few games with a dislocated knee injury, he likely would’ve repeated in 2019 as well. Both Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson were great, but neither could even will their team to the conference title game, while Mahomes put his teammates on his back, and delivered in a big way. Mahomes has yet to turn the football over in the playoffs thus far, and he’s thrown eight touchdowns during that two-game span. Not only that, he’s passed for 615 yards, and rushed for another 106 as well.

He’s been beating opposing teams with both his arm and his legs, and he’ll look to do the same against one of the best defenses in football on the first Sunday in February, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The 49ers sure won’t make it easy on him, as they field the best defensive front in football — with all four starters having been first-round draft picks. Rookie sensation Nick Bosa has wreaked havoc on opposing quarterbacks, with nine sacks, and tons of pressures as well.

But Mahomes has torched even the best defenses the NFL has had to offer over the past two seasons, having dismantled both the Texans and Titans in the last two games, with the Chiefs offense scoring a ridiculous 86 points combined in those wins. And Mahomes has been the straw that has stirred the drink, drawing the majority of the credit in the victories — understandably so.

That’s why we advocate betting him to win Super Bowl MVP, currently listed at even money, at outlets such as Safest Betting Sites. If the Chiefs win the game, which they’re favored to do, Mahomes would be a hammer lock to win, so make sure to get a wager down on him. There are also a number of other interesting props to get action down on as well, such as rushing yards, receiving yards, passing yards, whether or not the game will go to overtime and the length of the national anthem. The Chiefs are currently listed as 1.5-point favorites in the game nearly everywhere, and the total is 54 points, so expect plenty of entertaining plays in the big game.
