The fourth edition of the Laver Cup will take place in Boston as from September 25 to 27. All the games will be played at the TD Garden. The competition which was started as a way of honoring tennis greats will feature some of the best tennis players of our time.
Like last year, the 2020 tournament will be between the best players in Europe and tennis greats from the rest of the world. The world team will be captained by John McEnroe while the Europe team will be captained by Bjorn Borg. Below is a brief description and history of the players who will be featured by both teams.

- Dominic Thiem is a professional Austrian player who has a world number 5 ATP career rating. He was featured in both the 2017 and 2019 Laver Cup tournaments and has so far recorded two wins in the matches he has played in the tournaments.
- David Goffin is a professional Belgian tennis player who has a world number 11 ranking by the ATP. He has only been featured in the 2018 Laver Cup and has recorded one win in the cup tournaments.
- Grigor Dimitrov is a professional tennis player in Bulgaria with an ATP ranking of world number 20. He was featured in the 2018 Laver Cup and recorded one win in the matches that he played.
- Marin Čilić is a professional tennis player from Croatia with a career ranking of world number 39 by the ATP. He was featured in the 2017 Laver cup and recorded one win in the tournaments that he played.
- Tomáš Berdych is professional player from Czech who was featured in the 2017 Laver cup where he recorded one win in the tournaments that he played.
- Alexander Zverez is a professional player from Germany with a current career ranking of world number 7 from the ATP. He has played in the past three Laver Cup tournaments and has recorded a win in all of them.
- Stefanos Tsitsipas is a professional player from Greece with a career-high ranking of world number 6 from the ATP.
Fabio Fognini is an Italian professional tennis player with a ranking of world number 12 from the ATP. - Roger Federer is a Swiss player with a current rating of world number 3 in men’s singles from the ATP.
