He then moved on to England with Manchester United where he began his scoring tally with 84 goals in the Premier League. His game was fine tuned under the tutelage of the leaders on the team and this helped him round out his all around play on the field.

Next stop was Spain for Real Madrid in La Liga where he reached peak level and netted 311 goals. This is where his potential shined the most with the constant battles versus Messi and Barcelona bringing his talent to the CR7 we all know worldwide.

His latest endeavor has been for Juventus in Serie A in Italy where 2 goals in his most recent game got him to the 400.

After going through his own scoring drought which for Cristiano Ronaldo is big news, an easy tip into the net sent Allianz Arena into complete bedlum. It hasn’t been for a lack of opportunities or hard work that he had not scored a goal officially for Juventus in his Serie A games but the longer this lasted the more questions would have arisen about his age and if he had possibly lost a step. His scoring could not have come at a better time as Juventus are about to begin the Champions League tournament. He is looking to win his 6th UEFA Champions League title.

He keeps himself in phenomenal shape and will give everything he has on the training field and weight room to try and give himself the opportunity to go as far as he can with his potential.

His scoring touch is still there

It took only eight minutes in his first match wearing Juventus colors but Cristiano Ronaldo has his first goal.

To Juventus supporters the game is known as Villar Perosa. It was also the first chance to see him don the black and white. The game was streamed online for fans on Facebook and other social media sites due to the hype surrounding Cristiano.

Ronaldo sure can draw a crowd! In a small Italian town with a population of 4,000 people, some 5,000 fans packed into the stadium to watch Cristiano Ronaldo in his first appearance for Juventus.

CRISTIANO RONALDO: The CR7 Effect Is Undeniable

Cristiano Ronaldo has yet to play a game for Juventus, but his signing is already showing how admired he is  worldwide.

Juventus collected $60 million in jerseys sold with the name Ronaldo on it just 24 hours after the signing was announced. On their YouTube channel, Juventus had 18.3 million views from January to June, but in July alone (after Ronaldo joined) had 36 million. Their stock price increased 32% between July 2nd and 19th.

The numbers speak for themselves. You can see people either watch him because they love him or are hoping for his failure. The one thing that is undeniable is his marketability and what he brings to whichever team he plays for.

The King of Social Media

ESPN has signed a multi year deal to show Italian Serie A league games. Similarly, Facebook announced that his first game will be streamed live. These announcements prove the inarguable point: everyone wants to be part of the Ronaldo world. At age 33, some have mentioned that he is on his final turn. But as we’ve seen here in the Boston market with Tom Brady, if you take care of yourself physically and mentally, the opportunity is there to play longer than ever expected.

His first game is going to be August 12th and the ratings are sure to be astronomical. He also has his own clothing line and cologne, which are sure to help in the style capital of Europe. Ronaldo has already opened a CR7 Museum in his homeland of Madeira, Portugal. New York City is also scheduled to have his CR7/Pestana hotel opening in the future. This would add to the two he has already. He has been popular off the field as much as he has been on it. If the first month is any sign, Juventus will be rewarded in making his transfer the sixth highest in futebol history.

His performances in England and then in Spain were unmatched. If he is able to replicate those statistics and bring a Champions League trophy to Juventus, which would be his sixth, We could only imagine Christiano Ronaldo net worth being he could be the greatest footballer of all time.
